Day 0: Arrival in Kathgodam or Dehradun

• Arrive in Kathgodam (for treks starting from Lohajung) or Dehradun (for treks starting from Wan).
• Check-in to your accommodation, rest, and prepare for the trek.

Day 1: Kathgodam or Dehradun to Lohajung (8,432 ft / 2,570 m) or Wan (7,874 ft / 2,400 m)

• For Lohajung trek: Drive from Kathgodam to Lohajung.
• For Wan trek: Drive from Dehradun to Wan.
• Lohajung trek option involves picturesque landscapes and charming villages.
• Wan trek option offers a more remote starting point.
• Reach Lohajung or Wan, rest, and acclimatize.

Day 2: Lohajung or Wan to Didna Village (8,530 ft / 2,600 m)

• Trek from Lohajung or Wan to Didna Village.
• Pass through lush forests, river streams, and quaint villages.
• Set up camp at Didna Village for the night.

Day 3: Didna Village to Ali Bugyal (11,320 ft / 3,450 m)

• Trek through oak and rhododendron forests to Ali Bugyal.
• Experience breathtaking meadows and panoramic mountain views.
• Camp at Ali Bugyal, surrounded by the Himalayan vistas.

Day 4: Ali Bugyal to Patar Nachauni (12,073 ft / 3,680 m)

• Continue the trek to Patar Nachauni.
• Witness the terrain transition to alpine meadows.
• Set up camp at Patar Nachauni, with views of the peaks.

Day 5: Patar Nachauni to Bhagwabasa (14,117 ft / 4,304 m)

• Trek to Bhagwabasa, getting closer to Roopkund.
• The landscape becomes more rugged as you approach higher altitudes.
• Camp at Bhagwabasa, surrounded by the towering mountains.

Day 6: Bhagwabasa to Roopkund (15,696 ft / 4,785 m) and back to Patar Nachauni

• Early morning ascent to Roopkund, the glacial lake.
• Witness the breathtaking scenery and the lake's crystal-clear waters.
• Descend back to Patar Nachauni for the night.

Day 7: Patar Nachauni to Wan or Bedni Bugyal (11,682 ft / 3,561 m)

• Descend to Wan or opt for a longer trek to Bedni Bugyal.
• Bedni Bugyal offers stunning meadows and is a popular camping site.
• Camp at Wan or Bedni Bugyal for the night.

Day 8: Wan or Bedni Bugyal to Lohajung

• Complete the trek, descending to Lohajung.
• Reflect on your journey, passing through familiar landscapes.
• Reach Lohajung, where the trek ends.
• Celebrate the completion of the trek and rest.

Day 9: Lohajung to Kathgodam or Dehradun

• Drive back to Kathgodam or Dehradun.
• Return to the city, marking the end of your Roopkund adventure.
